The value for money was excellent and the room was clean and cozy. The location was convenient for exploring downtown and there were great breweries nearby. The staff were friendly and responsive.
The menu for breakfast could be improved by offering more variety or options.

Eclectic and fun atmosphere, full of friendly people. Clean and affordable. Ideal for casual, low-key stay. Safe and comfortable environment to meet new people and listen to music on provided instruments.
Disorganized reservation process, causing confusion and inconvenience. Lack of personal space light in dorms, resulting in disruption from overhead lights.

this hostel exceeded my expectations. it felt like a step back in time with its 60's decor and relaxed atmosphere. the private room was clean and comfortable with a private entrance. limited parking but free street parking was available.
Squeaky floors from guests above.

Located in a vibrant and unique neighborhood with great eateries and small businesses. The hostel has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, with cozy rooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and comfortable common areas decorated with art. Guests have access to a music jam room, outdoor stage/patio, and a fire pit in the backyard. The staff is helpful and the hostel provides breakfast and coffee.
Some guests mentioned that the shared bathroom could have been cleaner, as it was not cleaned daily.

Relaxed and homey atmosphere. Super quiet and smelled good. Easy walk from local transit. Very clean and comfortable private room. Safe and quiet neighborhood. Well-equipped kitchen and free make-your-own-breakfast. Sunday potluck dinner. Loved the big porch sofas. Cozy and filled with funky art. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Mac is the man! Hangout sessions with music in the backyard. Perfect balance of social and peaceful. Great restaurants/food trucks nearby.

We had an amazing time staying at the hostel and exploring the Whiteaker Neighborhood. The location was perfect, with grocery stores, breweries, and great restaurants within walking distance. We loved being able to walk to the river, the rose garden, and even the hill. The hostel itself was clean and well-maintained, with a well-equipped kitchen and a cozy back-garden for hanging out. The reading room upstairs was a nice touch, and the internet worked well for my conference calls. Check-in was a breeze and the front desk person was helpful in showing us around. The sheets were clean and fresh, and we appreciated the simple breakfast provided. Street parking was readily available and having a driveway was convenient. the relaxed and cool atmosphere of the hostel made our stay enjoyable. Despite some minor drawbacks like a squeaky bed and noise from passing trains, we had a great experience. We would definitely recommend this hostel to others.

The cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch, and I was impressed with how well-maintained everything was. The breakfast included in my stay was a great bonus and set me up for the day ahead. The location of the hostel was perfect, situated in a safe and colorful neighborhood with plenty of amenities nearby. I loved the laid-back vibe of the community and enjoyed exploring the local area.

The location is unbeatable, with plenty of things to do in the surrounding area. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to help with travel advice. The rooms are clean and comfortable, providing a cozy retreat after a long day of exploring. The hostel offers great facilities, including fast internet, washer/dryers, and even guitars for those who want to play. Plus, the breakfast with pancakes and bottomless French Press coffee is a definite highlight.
I did find that the common area and kitchen closed quite early at 11 pm, which was a bit disappointing for someone like me who enjoys staying up late.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hostel! The staff members were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcomed throughout my entire stay. The hostel had a cozy and safe atmosphere, with a colorful neighborhood that added to its charm. The location was perfect, with plenty of good restaurants nearby and easy access to transportation. The hostel was also eco-friendly, which was a big plus for me. The staff took great care in keeping the place clean, and the separate male and female dorms provided privacy and comfort. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay during my time in this city.
Couldn't fault anything about this hostel.

The location of this hostel was fantastic! It was right in the heart of a vibrant and artistic neighborhood, with plenty of food and activity options just a short walk away. The area was beautiful and offered a great mix of residential and commercial spaces. Additionally, the staff at the hostel were very friendly and accommodating. They were quick to respond to any requests or concerns, and they even helped me find another bed on short notice when I missed my flight.
My experience with the owner of the hostel was less than ideal. From the moment I arrived, I felt like we didn't quite get along.
